LPG market

In 2020 one could witness a drop of the LPG market, which was considerably affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and related to it movement restrictions. According to the data prepare by POPiHN the consumption of LPG in 2020 amounted to 4.6 million m3, which is down by 11.6% yoy.
In 2020 once could also observe severe hindrance in access to the product imported from the East and logistic challenges in Belarus. The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) traditionally comes in its majority from import and in 2020 its share in market supplies amounted to 82% (3.08 million m3) – down by 2 percentage points compared to the previous year.
